Estate health & trends

Estate Health (/estate-health) is your repository's standing health check — the gaps and risks across the whole estate, plus how they're trending.

The signal sections

The page surfaces actionable signal groups, each a list you can work through:

  • No owner — assets with no owner assigned. Each row has inline owner assignment (see Assigning owners).
  • EOL risk — technologies at or near end of life.
  • Unmapped — applications not linked to any capability.
  • Redundancy — capabilities with several overlapping applications (consolidation candidates).

The Home page and the Intelligence hub also surface these counts ambiently, so you see them on every login.

The trend over time

ArcaMira captures a weekly snapshot of the signal counts and charts them, so you can see whether the estate is getting healthier:

  • The trend chart plots each signal over time.
  • A delta badge summarises movement ("N fewer issues since ").
  • Editors/admins can take a Capture snapshot now — useful right after a cleanup push so the improvement is recorded immediately rather than waiting for the weekly job.

These are real counts, not an invented composite "health score" — every number traces back to actual assets you can open and fix.

A healthy rhythm

  1. Check Estate Health on a cadence (weekly or fortnightly).
  2. Knock down the no-owner list using inline assignment.
  3. Work the unmapped list via Discover.
  4. Prioritize EOL risk by blast radius.
  5. Watch the trend bend down over time.
